Sponsor a Ugandan Child

Community Based Care

Sponsorship goes beyond providing for an orphan’s needs, it speaks to the heart of a child and tells them they are valuable, precious and loved. It gives them a sense of belonging and acceptance. For an orphan who has experienced loss, abandonment, rejection and trauma, knowing there is someone out there who cares and wants to see them thrive is life-changing.

Akello Joyce C121

Age: 10

Akello Joyce was born in 2013. She joined the Path International Community Based Care (CBC) Program in 2019.

Joyce lives in a rural village in Northern Uganda with her grandmother. Joyce attends King Solomon Primary School. When she started, Joyce was the youngest in the program. She was so very excited to attend school and loves her teachers. Thanks to the CBC program, she will be able to continue to live with her family while gaining a quality education, consistent nutrition, and the medical care she needs. The family also recieves care, encouragement, training opportunities, emergency assistance, medical access, and the knowledge that they are no longer alone.

Sponsorship is $39/month. When you select a child and become a sponsor, you will receive an email giving you access to a secure, individualized online portal. Here you will find the child’s biography, photographs, the option to send letters as well as access to your financial information.
