Chala Hassen was born in 2013. He joined the Path International Community Based Care Program in 2021.
Chala Hassen was in the first group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2021. Chala was born in 2013, and he lives with his mother and brother. Chala loves playing soccer, and he wants to be a doctor when he grows up. He was selected to attend Nafyaad Private School. In addition to educational support, Chalaâs mother is going to receive business training and seed money to begin her own income generating activity. She hopes to sell charcoal with the money given to her.
Sponsorship is $39/month. When you select a child and become a sponsor, you will receive an email giving you access to a secure, individualized online portal. Here you will find the child’s biography, photographs, the option to send letters as well as access to your financial information.
