20 Ethiopian Children
Sata and Isaac are busy preparing the first 20 children to begin school next week! We are very grateful for our two staff in Chiro, God has really called and prepared them for this work. We are witnessing Sata’s gifts of discernment come through as he has interacts with each child and family. He is balancing families, government leaders, and church leaders with grace and authority.
Isaac shared that one of the county officials said, “There is something different about you. You have a special gift in this.” Chiro is a Muslim majority area, and to hear those words come from outside our organization is so encouraging. Already, people are noticing something different, something special. Our hope and prayer for these people, is that they would see someone different – Our Lord and Savior, Jesus!
These pictures are from the informal welcome meeting that took place with guardians last week. This is a very special group. The mothers and children are engage, excited, clever, and hard workers. We can’t wait to see what God is going to do in their lives!
