7th Medical Outreach in 2022
The year wrapped up with our 7th Medical Outreach in 2022. About 340 patients were seen and treated, making it the largest medical outreach of the year.
There was a lot of malaria and respiratory tract infections among the children.

Pastors and social workers offered counseling to the community throughout the day. And our medical team also presented health education talks focusing on hygiene, hand washing and other preventative measures.
Sadly, a large number of children in this area tested positive for sickle cell anemia. This is the greatest concentration of sickle cell that we have seen.
On the positive side, one of PATH’s supporting churches in the US donated children’s clothing. The kids were thrilled to receive new clothes, and it was a huge blessing to the entire community!
