Superheroes on Motorcycles
A key to the success of our CBC program is our incredible team of social workers who regularly visit each child’s home and school.
Ride along with Emmanuel and Gloria on their trip to the village:
Visits to CBC homes allow our social workers to build an understanding of each child’s personal life, family background, academic background, and health status. Social workers also observe the major needs of the community, like health issues and food security. They offer counseling to children when they are facing challenges and aid in resolving conflict between children and family members. Our caring team of social workers encourages children to work hard in school so that they can realize their dreams and change their family’s story. And they talk to the children about their faith in Christ. We have an amazing team of servant-hearted social workers, and their presence among the CBC children is vital. |
$3,000 will provide a social worker with the motorcycle they need to reach our CBC children, no matter what the road to their home is like. We are hoping to purchase 8 motorcycles, for a total cost of $24,000. |
